Admission and Fees

QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY

In order to be eligible for admission, the applicant should:

1)   have at least one parent with foreign citizenship (Native Koreans with foreign citizenship must not have Korean citizenship).

2)   be a Korean national having lived/studied abroad for at least 3 years (1095 days). Short-term visits do not apply towards the required number of days.

GUARDIANSHIP

Students applicant must reside with at least one parent or a legal guardian.

TRANSCRIPT

Any student applying for admission must present official school transcripts from the last school attended. If transcripts are not available, the student applicant will be placed according to testing administered by CCS.

APPLICATION

The Application process is complete only when the above requirements have been met; the application form filled out and received by CCS along with the non-refundable registration fee; and the student has been approved for the appropriate grade level or classes; and fees have been paid.

INTERVIEW

The student applicant and at least one parent is required to have a personal interview with a CCS official.

What to bring on the day of interview:

*Passports of both parents and the student
*Alien Registration Card
*Korean Family Registry

*Certificate of the Facts Concerning the Entry & Exit (출입국에 관한 사실 증명)
Issued by the Korean Immigration Office

2.  School transcripts and records for the last three years
3.  Immunization record
4.  A short English writing sample
5.  Standard testing record (if any have been taken at your school)
6.  Admission processing fee: 300,000 KWN (non-refundable)
7.  One photo (3 * 4 cm)

*Please bring the original documents and submit a copy of each item.

TESTING

All student applicants will be tested in English and Math. The English test will consist of vocabulary test, comprehension test and written essays; the Math test will cover basic math (procedures and problem solving skills) depending on the grade level.

The student must show receipt of payment on the first day of every quarter to the homeroom teacher or they will not be able to participate in class!

NEW STUDENT CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FEE  2,000,000 Won (non-refundable)

This is a non-refundable fee required of all new students to cover the running and maintenance of facilities.


ADDITIONAL FEES

Curriculum Fees:

$ 250.00/academic year  (text book usage fee, non-refundable)
School Bus Fees:
470,000 Won/quarter (round trip)
Senior Fee:
300,000 Won (non-refundable)

REFUND POLICY:
90% refund of tuition may be made only before school begins.
50% of the tuition fee is refundable if the student withdraws by the 2nd week of school.
No refund will be made after the 2nd week of school.

LATE FEES: 
A late fee will be assessed on any outstanding balance remaining after close of business on the due date.
1-20 business days    3%       
21-30 Business days   10%   
31+   business days   15%

DISCOUNT: 
Discounts apply only if the family is paying the tuition and not a company.

  • Second child registered receives 10% discount off tuition.
  • Third child registered receives 20% discount off tuition.
  • Children of parents involved in full time missionary or pastoral work receive 25% discount off tuition but students should keep their quarterly GPA higher than 2. 5 to be received continuously.

Students who have been caught cheating or who have had any suspensions will not be eligible to receive the discount.
